Vogue Fashion’s Night Out 2018 – 10 years in Russia

Vogue Russia, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, officially announces the dates of its flagship event, the largest project in the world of fashion and a big day for all shopaholics - Vogue Fashion's Night Out.

For the tenth time, the start of the fashion and social season in Russia will be given on September 4th in Moscow and September 6th in St. Petersburg.

The official ambassador of the tenth Vogue Fashion Night will be the Russian top model Natasha Poly. Natasha is one of the top 26 legendary fashion models. She appeared on thirteen covers of Russian Vogue only, not including French, Spanish, Greek, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, American, German and Australian publications. Natasha Poly is a frequent guest of Vogue Fashion's Night Out - she was the face of the Fashion Night twice, in 2011 and 2015.

Natasha Poly together with Masha Fedorova, editor-in-chief, and Vogue Russia editorial team will follow the fashion route along all the key stops of the VFNO 2018.

In Moscow, the most exciting events are traditionally held in TsUM and Tsvetnoy department stores and Modny Sezon trade gallery. St. Petersburg will delight city fashionistas with activities in DLT and Au Pont Rouge department stores and Nevsky 152 Concept Store, Salvatore Ferragamo and Woolford boutiques.

Traditionally, Russian designers will release a limited collection of FNO T-shirts for the fans of the Fashion Night. They will be on sale only in participating stores and only during the Vogue Fashion's Night Out. T-shirts for Vogue Russia’s anniversary were created by Outlaw, Artem Krivda, Alexander Arutyunov, Yulia Yefimtchuk, Chapurin, Terekhov Girl, ZDDZ, Katya Dobryakova, I am Studio, Victoria Andreyanova, Viva Vox, A LA RUSSE, Denis Simachev, Kalmanovich, JM Studio, Ruban, Ulyana Sergeenko, Sorry I’m not, ZASPORT, Urban Tiger, CYRILLE GASSILINE, Volchok and Belka.

 

History of Fashion's Night Out

Fashion's Night Out has its history since 2009, when 13 editors-in-chief of all Vogue magazines, including Russian, gathered at the Ritz hotel in Paris and decided to declare war on universal crisis depression. Under the motto “Let's shop, shop, shop!” boutiques of all continents opened their doors to editors and stylists, as well as magazine’s celebrity friends.

Thus, in ten years the Fashion Night has become one of the largest fashion events of the world. Year after year on the Fashion Night dozens of TV cameras, hundreds of brands, designers and models meet guests, customers and fashionistas, immersing them in the amazing world of beauty and style. Among Vogue Fashion's Night Out ambassadors of previous years are Irina Sheyk, Natalya Vodyanova, Marina Lynchuk, Valery Kauffman and Zhenya Sevastyanova.
