On September 6, the eighth festival of fashion and shopping Vogue Fashion’s Night Out buzzed through Moscow. An international Vogue project to support the fashion industry, Fashion’s Night Out is now more than just an anti-crisis initiative. It is an annual fashion and shopping festival opening the new season.

Until late at night, customers at major Moscow department stores and malls, TsUM, Tsvetnoi and Modny Sezon, enjoyed exciting activities, limited collections, special collaborative projects, special offers, gifts and live concerts by Russian and foreign artists.

Vogue team, Editor-in-Chief Victoria Davydova and FNO 2016 Ambassador Irina Shayk, completed the fashion route across the three fashion venues of the night. The festival opened at the Mercedes-Benz salon, the event’s general sponsor, where the Vogue party marched through Vogue Fashion’s Night Out.

Traditionally, TsUM welcomed guests with groovy DJ sets by Dasha Malygina, perfume and beauty premieres on the crowded first floor. Victoria Davydova and Irina Shayk made an obligatory stop by the giant bed in the middle of the floor that set the pajama party dress code for the evening. Alla Verber, TsUM chief buyer greeted the ambassadors and led them to the beauty and jewelry areas. Victoria and Irina reviewed the new collections and met with Russian designers who created special Party Vogue t-shirts for Fashion’s Night Out. They finished their visit on the fourth floor of the Moscow’s main department store.

Tsvetnoi was one of the most vibrant FNO venues. Victoria and Irina visited all the floors and reviewed all new collections, collaborative projects, beauty and perfume premieres as well as a pop-up installation created especially for Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. West Coast hip hop and rap artist Kid Ink was in charge of entertainment.

At Modny Sezon, Victoria Davydova and Irina Shayk first visited the Chanel boutique and then proceeded across the first floor atrium to the Podium Market flagship store to the night’s “personalize this, personalize that” activities.

After the journey, Irina and Victoria joined the guests at the after party at Shop & Bar Denis Simachёv.
