Top model Irina Shayk will be the ambassador of this year’s Fashion’s Night Out in Russia

International Vogue Fashion’s Night Out will take place in Russia for the seventh time. The large-scale fashion event that opens the new season every year is scheduled for September 6 in Moscow and September 9 in St. Petersburg. For the second year in a row, the fashion night is changing format. The most popular activities, including meetings with designers, perfume creators and Vogue’s editorial team, presentation of special collections and single collection items, cocktails and parties with groovy DJ sets will take place only at three shopping venues in Moscow (TsUM department store, Tsvetnoy mall and Modny Sezon shopping gallery) and at the DLT department store in St. Petersburg.

The first floor at TsUM will greet FNO guests with the most anticipated beauty and perfume premieres of the upcoming season including Lancôme x Sonia Rykiel and the most trendy lipstick colors by Dior Art Director Peter Philips. Nars will present its best-selling blush Orgazm and Giorgio Armani experts will help ladies try on three different images with exclusive Lip Maestro colors. Dolce & Gabbana makeup artist Massimiliano Della Maggesa will be using the Blush of Roses collection in presentation make-ups. Several major perfume premieres will take place also on the first floor. Actress Yelena Zakharova will present new fragrances by Burberry. Tom Ford will open a pre-sale of Private Blend collection. Memo and the invited celebrities, Natalya Chistyakova-Ionova and Natalya Osmann, will present the Russian Leather fragrance. The jewelry section will display new accessories by Stephen Webster and Delfina Delettrez. Guests will meet with jewelry designer Eugenia Bruni. At 6 pm there will be a public talk with the most cited fragrance specialist Roja Dove followed by an autograph session on the first floor. Buzz will spread to the other floors of the department store. At Nata4Tsum corner, guests will have a chance to meet designer Olympia Le-Tan and be the first to buy items from the Walk of Shame fall collection. Designer Aleksander Siradekian will present a collection of purses with the famous tassels. Natalia Gart will present themed t-shirts. All guests at the shopping party will get lots of gifts to go with their purchases, including a Chroma scarf, travel size perfumes, designer accessories and more.


The fashion night out at Tsvetnoy will be full of surprises and premieres. Among the Rive Gauche premieres will be a Caudalie perfume in a bottle designed by Jason Wu, Les Exclusifs de Chanel and Prada Infusion de Mimosa and a Russian debut by Nomenclature. As a new collaboration project, Clarins & Chapurin will present a palette of eye shadow, blush, lip gloss and mascara. M.A.C, L'Oréal Paris and Make Up Forever will present their limited collections of the most trendy and original lipsticks and make-up. Specially for FNO, Siberique designers created a wooden clutch with blue macarons for the fans of Guerlain. The department store will also hold an exhibition of audiovisual arts on the first floor and a Fashion’s Night Out pop-up on the fourth floor. The fashion night at Tsvetnoy will round up with a gig by popular West Coast hip hop artist Kid Ink.

Modny Sezon shopping gallery at Okhotny Ryad will be the third shopping fun venue. Two highly anticipated perfumes will go on sale including niche fragrance Adhil Assoluto by Tiziana Terenzi and a bohemian perfume by Tom Ford. At Cosmotheca, guests will find a surprise black box with cosmetics. Chanel and Rivoli Perfumery will present new exclusive tints and collections. Moscow jewelry designer Natalia Bryantseva has designed her popsicle collection in black specially for Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. Pandora will present its new Rose collection. At a tailor shop by Bella Potemkina on the first floor, guests will be able to watch the making of an evening gown. Moskva movie theater will give away two tickets to any movie for a purchase of 20,000 rubles and more. The fashion night’s highlight at Modny Sezon will be a concert by Triangle Sun.


More fun will happen at Podium Market. Guests will be able to decorate any item to their own taste. Patches, signage and initials can be put on adidas Originals sportswear, Primrosé silk pajamas and denim at The Tailor Shop by Levi’s. Those who wish to decorate themselves will be able to purchase and apply temporary tattoos by Sasha Unisex Tattoo and Miami Tattoos for Podium Market. Each customer of the new MO&Co. collection will get a gift clutch. Converse buyers will be able to have their shoes decorated by a graffiti artist. The Fashion’s Night Out premieres at Podium Market will include a capsule lingerie collection by Love Goods, a denim overall and a star print dress by Belucci, and a selection of chokers by The June’s.


Top model Irina Shayk will be the ambassador of this year’s Fashion’s Night Out in Russia. One of the most popular Russian models has appeared on numerous covers across the world, including on German, Spanish, Mexican, Turkish and Japanese Vogue. The September issue will be the first Vogue Russia cover for Shayk. Her dazzling looks won her contracts with Givenchy, Intimissimi, Guess, Lacoste, La Perla, Armani Exchange and made her one of the sexiest models in the world according to models.com ranking. On September 6, Irina Shayk will visit the main fashion night out venues along with the Vogue Russia team and Editor-in-Chief Victoria Davydova.


Sixteen designers created capsule t-shirt collections for FNO, all inspired by Vogue and this year’s theme, Party in Vogue. There will be collections by Andrey Artyomov (Walk of Shame), Victoria Andreyanova (Victoria Andreyanova), Olga Vilshenko (Vilshenko), Oleg Ovsiev (Viva Vox), Anastasia Romantsova (A La Russe Anastasia Romantsova), Dasha Selyanova (ZDDZ), Denis Simachev (Denis Simachёv), Alexander Terekhov (Alexander Terekhov), Ksenia Chilingarova (Arctic Explorer), Igor Chapurin (Chapurin), Darya Samkovich (I AM Studio), Jenia Kim (J. Kim), Yulia Yefimchuk (Yulia Yefimchuk+), Katya Dorbyakova (Катя Dobrяkova), Di Minrakhmanova and Maxim Bashkaev (Outlaw Moscow), Valentin Yudashkin (Valentin Yudashkin). The t-shirts will be available at Tsvetnoi and TsUM in Moscow and at DLT in St. Petersburg starting September 3.


Mercedes-Benz, official partner of Vogue Fashion’s Night Out 2016, announced an Instagram contest for everybody who wants their own moment of fame. You must be signed up to @mbrussia, take a photo of Mercedes-Benz – be it on a car, a dress, part of a trendy makeup or a children’s drawing – and upload the photo with hashtags #mbfno and #fnorussia. The winner will get a two-week test drive and a VIP invitation to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia this October. The contest will close on September 6, more details at vogue.ru.
