Ksenia Solovieva

Ksenia Solovieva was born in Moscow on October 10, 1976. In 1998 she accomplished her studies at the faculty of journalism of the Moscow State Lomonosov University. Ksenia’s professional journalist career began in OM magazine. Later she worked in Gala and Atmosphere magazines.

Ksenia had joined Tatler’s editorial staff in September 0f 2007, at first as Director of Beauty division and since April 2009, as Deputy Editor-in-Chief.

On July 29, 2010 she was promoted to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Tatler, replacing Victoria Davydova, who took a new assignment as Editor-in-Chief of Vogue.

Karina Dobrotvorskaya, President of Condé Nast New Markets and Editorial Director of Brand Development comments on new nomination of Ksenia Solovieva: “Ksenia Solovieva is a gifted editor, a bright journalist and also she’s an immensely responsible person. She started working for Tatler from its very first day. She was actively involved in the magazine’s launch on the Russian market and had shown profound understanding of the magazine’s structure, style and its audience. In glossy industry it’s a fairly rare situation when one and the same person combines perfect writer’s talents with brilliant managerial skills. Ksenia Solovieva is a vivid example of this unique case. I’m sure she’ll be a great editor of the Russian Tatler and I’m wishing her all success in this role.”

Ksenia Solovieva is married. She is a mother of two kids. Ksenia is an advanced tennis player, qualified as a candidate to Sports Masters grade.
